Here we have tried to simplify a home backup system for you, and have put together an example package. Power to your household can be given via Wind and/or solar panel collectors and is collected in a battery backup system. However, When the battery system is running low due to high power demands, and the wind and solar power is not enough to charge the batteries while you take power from them, a Kohler generator can activate to provide you with the power that is needed to keep the lights turned on. With this setup when the generator only being used for peak power demands, you are minimizing the amount of LPG that you are using, and maximizing the use of the natural fuel sources available to you. All in all, this is a very effective Green power solution.
In this complete green power system we are showing a wind powered generator that links to an Inverter, along side this is a solar charger which is controling the charge rate from an solar panels.
The Inverter then controls this income of power and sends it into the house mains while also charging the battery banks with any spare power that is left over from the current demand. These batteries will be used when the power from with the wind or solar panels do not provide enough power on demand required at that time.
When these battery banks hit a pre programmed low charge (such as 50%) a signal is sent to the natural gas standby Kohler generator and the generator is started. This helps with the power demand and battery charge required VIA the inverter.
